Me on the north coast on Maui Posted by Picasa

We got up at 3am on Thursday to drive to Haleakala crator to watch the sun rise. It was very beautiful, though I don't think I'd do it again. Posted by Picasa

Sunrise at Haleakala crator. Posted by Picasa

Sunrise over Haleakala Crator. Yes, those are clouds below the horizon and above the moutains. The crator is about 10,000 feet above sea level and we were above the clouds. Posted by Picasa

Sun up on the Road to Hana Posted by Picasa

Valley and ocean taken from the road to Hana. Posted by Picasa

Taken from the road to Hana. This is one of the few pics where the colour is close to what you actually see. Photos don't do justice to the beauty you see. Posted by Picasa

A seal was sunning herself on the beach. She was fine as long as you kept about 20 feet away. If you got closer, she'd look up and show here teath to you. Posted by Picasa

Red Sand Beach Posted by Picasa

The rocks away from Red Sand Beach. I'm not overly happy with the pictures taken from the beach. The colours didn't pop like they did when I was there. Much of the water in this picture is an amazing azure blue. Posted by Picasa
